To see if it was a treasure that hit my plough.
To know if I escape the dinosaur's foot.
To see if I pick up the gun first and shoot.

I'd like to know if my team won.
To see what happens if I soar too close to the sun.
To know how my history teacher fights in the old wars.
To see if Earth survives the falling stars.
Before I wake,
I'd like to see some more of the world I've created.
To know the resolution of the play my mind has enacted.
Before I wake,
I'd like to not see that white haze blur out the ending for once.

I'd like to finish my dreams.
